One of the founding tenets of evolt.org is to build better Web communities. As well, evolt.org continues to grow and thrive based on the contributions of all of its members. With that in mind, here you will find a lot of the code and tools that make up evolt.org which members have contributed. So whether you are building your own community and want to avoid "reinventing the wheel," want to take a look to get some ideas and learn from a living example, or you want to chip in and make evolt.org better, grab the code and have some fun.

All of the code that you find here is released under the GNU General Public License. If you do not know what that means, please take a quick second to read the license to get the gist of it.

Hi,

Can we by using SOAP or any other Socket programming method or by using ORB, fetch the data from Evolt.org and publish in other forums or websites? Or are there any legal terms of service that we need to follow?

Nainil,

At this time, we only offer the feeds listed above for content from the evolt.org site. We have no plans to offer any other data formats in the near future.

As for any republishing, if you wish to republish any content other than the feeds above, you need to get permission from the author of the article.

Tip parser link not working

The source code for the Tip parser is no longer available. :|

I've found a version of the tip harvester in my archive and have linked it in. I'm not sure if it is the most up to date but it should help you get started.
