Duties:

  • Responsible for playing a major role in analyzing, defining, and documenting requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, and interfaces with internal and external systems
  • Responsible for coordinating development activities on major projects that include leading design teams, developing and maintaining core architectural constructs, providing architectural leadership to development teams, and serving as the primary application architect resource
  • Responsible for taking the lead in defining strategic technologies for the organization
  • Responsible for taking the lead in vendor and product analysis

Experience:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related filed or equivalent work experience, M.S. in Computer Science a plus
  • 8+ years experience developing architecture solutions for large scale distributed applications, 4+ years of Java experience
  • Experience in the following products and technologies a plus: XML, LDAP, Oracle 9i, SunONE Web Server, BEA Application and Integration Server, Solaris, J2EE Design Patterns, UML, RUP
