Backbase is an innovative software company that develops software for Rich Internet Applications based on Internet Standards. We are looking for a Technical Evangelist who can get developers worldwide excited about Backbase. You will develop demos, code samples and sample applications, which will stretch the limits of the technology. You will develop best practices and spread the knowledge both externally and internally within Backbase. You will grow a community of developers and architects, and occasionally some more business-oriented users. You will do Backbase technical presentations on conferences. Using your product and market expertise, you are closely involved with Product Management and R&D in the development of specifications for future product releases.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Expert knowledge of CSS, (X)HTML, JavaScript and web standards
• Solid background as a software developer, with good knowledge of advanced system architecture and design patterns
• Good conceptual skills
• A drive to innovate and the motivation to continuously upgrade your skills
• Work experience in a similar role is a plus
• Work permit for the Netherlands
