Reports to: VP, Engineering
Salary: $150K + Bonus + Benefits

Our client is an exciting company in the digital media space. They produce an advertising platform to allow their clients to leverage social media and consumer interaction. They are growing rapidly and looking for a Director of Engineering in New York City.
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to manage and mentor an experienced team of engineers with a goal of building their suite of social platform solutions. An ideal candidate will have over 5 years experience managing teams of engineers.
Required Skills
-Expert in the full LAMP stack.
-Heavy OOP background with a primary language of any of the above (PHP, Python, Ruby, Java)
-Source Code Version Control (Git, SVN)
-Design Patterns including MVC.
-MVC web frameworks.
-RDMBS.
-Attention to detail from a code standard perspective.
-Experience with release process patterns (Agile and Waterfall).
-Strong knowledge of HTML/Javascript (JQuery).
-XML/XSLT
-REST/SOAP API structures
